Well, i don't have memories about 911. All i remember is that i was 5 or 6 and i was in first grade. I don't really remember what happend in school or how i got home. I just know that when i was home my mom and i were watching replays of the whole disaster on the news. Almost every channel had 911 on it. I remember my mom crying on the couch with the phone in her ear. She was in tears but i was too young to understand why. She kept hugging me and squeezing me tight. I never saw my mom cry that much as i did that day. 911 was a tragedy that killed millions of people. Many families are hurt and in pain about it still today.
I think we are still at war because we want to change their government and have them be one of our allies. But i dont think that we should be so kind to try and send armies over there to help the people. If they dont want the help then what are we doing? We dont gain anything by having our soldiers killed. I want our marines, navy, army and airforce back home. This is a war that is not needed but since the 911 tragedy its tough to have a dicussion about wheather or not we should go to war. My friend Rebecca in school lost her father because of 911. She is still heartbroken over the whole thing. She lost her daddy and thats a sensitive subject to talk about. Every child needs their daddy and mommy. To lose a parent is the worst thing and feeling in world.
The muslims who crashed the plane accomplished what they wanted to do and more. Even though they didnt have a domino effect like they planned, they made a point and I think that America has every right to go to Iraq and make another point. We can't take back what happend years ago but we can have revenge on them. They shouldnt have done this to us but now that they did i think that its up to The United States and all our allies to rise against them and kick their ass.
